The most cherished memory for an individual regarding school routine is the school assembly. The school bells chiming and the classes marching on to the assembly hall is a sight to behold! At Sri Vidya Mandir, the day begins with an elaborate prayer routine combined with an address by the respective Headmistress or the teachers. The school choir at the Primary, Higher Primary and High School sections is well trained and they lead the prayers with their melodious rendition.

A meticulously chosen list of “shlokas and devarnama” on each day of the week has ensured that our students have memorized all of them. Listening to the entire assembly reciting a prayer is indeed a blissful and divine experience. The school assembly is also a platform for the students to deliver speeches in accordance with the significance of the day.
