ATTENDANCE
- 1. Attendance on re-opening day (after summer, midterm & Christmas holidays) is compulsory failing which a penalty of Rs. 100/- will be levied.
- 2. Attendance at the School Assembly is compulsory. The pupils should be present in the school premises ten minutes before the prayer bell. The school gates will be closed after the 1st bell and late comers will not be permitted to enter the class.
- 3. Withdrawal of your children from class for mere social function is not recommended because it retards their progress in school and minimizes their respect for regular work. Half day leave is not permitted, and pupils will not be permitted to go home in between the school hours.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
- 1. Pupils who absent themselves will not be allowed to attend their classes without a leave letter signed by the parents on the next day. Action will be taken against pupils who absent themselves from school for 3 consecutive working days without a leave letter. 5.
- 2. Pupils who absent themselves for more than 5 days due to illness should produce a Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
DISCIPLINE
- 1. Pupils should keep their classrooms, toilets and their surroundings clean. They should take care of the school property. Those who cause damage to school property will be severely punished and penalty levied.
- 2. Pupils should not bring/wear the following items to school. (a) Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, ipods etc. (b) Cash (c) Expensive jewellery and watches. School is not responsible for loss of such items.
- 3. If students are found to carry mobile phone or any other electronic gadget, the same will be confiscated and will not be returned.
- 4. Chewing gum inside the school premises is prohibited. 10. Pupils will not be allowed to go out during working hours of the school. Parents should send lunch from home.
- 5. Strict disciplinary action will be taken, and Transfer Certificate will be issued to pupils indulging in malpractice or misbehavior.
TEST SCHEDULE
- 1. Formative Assessments and Summative Assessments
- (a) Four formative assessments and Two summative assessments will be conducted during the academic year.
- (b) Retest will not be given for any of the tests or examination.
- (c) Marks card will be issued in school, to parents during Parents and Teachers meeting, after SA1 and SA2. After FA1 and FA3, marks will be sent to mobile phone of parent through Optra. After FA2 and FA4 parents will be called for a meeting to discuss the performance of their wards and to see the answer papers.
SCHOOL FEES
- 1. Annual Fees
- (a) Annual fees may be paid in 3 instalments. There will be a concession in the fees, if it is paid in 2 instalments or as a single payment.
- (b) School fees may be paid online through Optra or cash in SVC bank.
- (c) All fee arrears should be cleared before the end of the academic year failing which the name of the pupil will be struck off the rolls on the last working day of the academic year.
- (d) Parents should save the Optra Login ID and Password.
SCHOOL BAG/BOOKS/UNIFORM
- 1. In order to reduce the burden of carrying too many books, students are requested to carry the following only
- (a) Textbooks only for Mathematics and Languages.
- (b) Class workbooks as per timetable.
- (c) Only one homework notebook for submission (following a schedule).
- 2. Books are to be purchased from V.R Book Sellers, Malleswaram Circle.
- 3. Pupils should come neatly dressed in proper uniform. Pupils are not permitted to come to school in stylish haircut. Nails must be properly trimmed. School uniform should be purchased from "Bhagwan Stores", 8th Cross, Malleswaram. Only School Uniform sweater is permitted. Students are asked to wear Black shoes and Black socks only. This is to be purchased from Bata shoes shop, 8th Cross, Malleswaram.
- Whenever a student comes to school to attend regular class, special class, PTM, practice for any programme, submit/collect forms/certificate, whatever the reason may be, the student must be in complete school uniform.
HOUSE SYSTEM
- 1. Pupils will be grouped under 5 houses - Prithvi, Agni. Vayu, Varuna and Akash (named after the 5 elements).
- 2. Once a week pupils should wear their house uniform to school. This will be on the day they have mass PE. This uniform must also be purchased from Bhagwan Stores. It will be available by the end of May.
TRANSFER CERTIFICATE/BONAFIDE CERTIFICATE
- 1. Application for Transfer Certificate should be submitted in writing to the school office with proper reason. 20. Transfer Certificate will not be issued during vacation.
- 2. In the case of pupils admitted or withdrawn during a particular term i.e. May to September/October to April tuition fee for the entire term should be paid. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.
- 3. Bonafide Certificate, if required for the purpose of getting Aadhar Card, Passport etc., will be issued 3 working days from the date of receiving the request letter from parents. Any Certificate with photograph of pupil will be attested only if the photograph is taken in school uniform.
